This Cheese Scone Recipe has been painstakingly created over the years and is essentially infallible. It all comes together nicely in one bowl, which reduces cleanup, and it only takes five to ten minutes to prepare. Place them in the oven, and for twenty to twenty-five minutes, enjoy the ideal afternoon snack.

You only need a bowl and a regular baking tray, along with a love of baking, so no fancy equipment is needed. In contrast to baking bread, the secret to making scones is to work with the dough as little as possible.

Batch Cooking: Storage Recommendations

Refrigerator: Store the scones tightly for a couple of days, but nothing compares to the warmth of a just-baked cheese scone!

Reheat: Before serving, gently reheat the scones in the oven or microwave to bring back their freshness.

These scones are excellent frozen. To prevent freezer burn, allow them to cool before freezing and store them in an airtight container or resealable bag. To keep them from sticking, think about sandwiching a piece of parchment or wax paper between them. Before consuming or reheating, defrost.

Slimming World Compatibility:

These scones were once free of syns. Unfortunately, the addition of Syns to Smash changed everything. The cost of each scone has decreased to 2.5 Syns with 25g of Dried Smash costing 4.5 Syns. However, they are well worth it because of their delicious flavour. Syns are, after all, supposed to be enjoyed, right?
